Tranquility found on renowned Grace Bay
It was our first big (much needed) getaway since the start of the pandemic. After researching extensively on where to stay on Grace Bay, The Tuscany fit what I was looking for. I wanted a beachfront , modern property with large living space for a family of 4(“kids” 18y & 20yr) without the hustle and bustle of a large resort during peak travel season.
The open air reception area overlooking the inviting pool was so welcoming after long hours of travel. There was no line to check in , room was ready, staff unloaded luggage and escorted to our room while orienting us to their facilities, and amenities. Every room is beachfront with an expansive screened in balcony or patio . We appreciated a 3rd floor accomodation as an upper level was requested on booking. It was a great impression right away with the warm personal attention from staff , Shawnamae and the man who helped with luggage.
Our room was immaculate and the grounds were nicely maintained. It was nice having a kitchen so we didn’t have to eat every meal out. There were many loungers and umbrellas available at any time of the day at the beach and pool. It seemed like we had the pool and hot tub to ourselves or only a handful of people most times we went. No getting up at 7am and needing to claim a spot like other bigger resort or all inclusive from reviews I read.
There is no restaurant on the property can easily go next door and dine at the Cabana bar which has large variety on the menu and full bar offerings. We ate their twice for convenience. I saw their staff taking orders and delivering on the beach for Tuscany clientele during our stay. Expect high prices but that is the norm on Provo.
We had a car rental so going to restaurants, excursions and other beaches to explore, making stops at the convenient groceries was not a problem. It’s a small , safer island than others in the Caribbean so experiencing other areas /beaches was easy.
No watercrafts are offered on the property. We did a half day snorkeling excursion from the Ritz Carlton , rented jet skis and SUP at Sapodilla Bay, and snorkeled at the Bight Reef. We’re not the type who wants to just stay within a resort for the week so no restaurants or watercrafts onsite didn’t bother us. The hotel’s area on the beach was quiet, relaxing and most of all uncrowded. They have pool noodles and mats to float and laze about in the sea.
We would highly recommend and return to The Tuscany as it delivered and exceeded my criteria in choosing a resort on Provo.
Best of best
Where do I begin? Been here for 5 times. Stayed at many great resorts. Nothing beats Tuscany. Every single person that works here is amazing. Today, on our first full day, my 83 year old dad fell on way to pool. To tell you the attention and love we got was immeasurable. The manager, her team are wonderful. On a better note: amazing rooms, quiet. Love it.
Let’s Keep The Tuscany A Secret
Really didn’t want to write a review for word to get out about The Tuscany!!! Truth be told we had originally booked another condo in another development but it was sold so we were scrambling to find another condo to stay in. Lucky for us the Tuscany had a 2 bedroom available. From the look of it on the website it looked awesome but pictures can be deceiving, so we went in with an open mind.
First off the correspondence from The Tuscany was spot on, answering all our questions any of our concerns, etc. Prompt replies to all our emails, etc. Every staff member is wonderful going above and beyond.
So excited for our trip but then we hit a snag, our flight was delayed and we couldn’t get out till a day later. Called the Tuscany to see if we could tack on an extra day at the end, no problem and no extra charge. They totally understood and took care of us during this hiccup in our plans. The “we will help you any way we can” attitude was exemplary.
When we arrived, OMG, what can we say. You walk in the open air lobby and look straight out onto the gorgeous pool directly behind the beach. What an amazing view to begin our vacation!
Our condo was ground floor, just gorgeous. Literally looked straight out onto the beach with some grassy area in front and some trees that made it very serene. The screened in patio was huge, we spend many a nights out there playing cards and having drinks and snacks. We even had a small area outside the patio with 2 lounge chairs. Loved being on the ground floor! Never heard a peep from the condo above. The condo was equipped with everything you could imagine. All paper products, detergents, even coffee and sugar. Plenty of room to spread out and cleanliness to a tee. The master bedroom was huge and had sliding doors to the ocean front porch along with a gorgeous master bathroom. They are 3 bedroom condo’s but will lock off any number of bedrooms depending on what you book. For us we booked a 2 bedroom so the 3rd bedroom was locked off. The second bedroom was nice, a double bed, wish it was queen size. And a nice bathroom. Do wish there was another safe in the other bedroom since we had to constantly bother our friends to get into the safe in the master. That is really the only complaint and not even a real complaint honestly.
The Tuscany, in our opinion, is on the best area of Grace Bay beach. Quiet, plenty of beach to spread out on and within walking distance to the other resorts if you so desire.
I think this will be our go to place when we go back to Turks and Caicos, just hope word doesn’t get out!!! Shout out to all the staff, you were the best!
Hidden Gem on Grace Bay
I am hesitant about giving The Tuscany a great review because I am worried that the secret will be out. This was our second year in a row here. Fabulous location away from the busy portion of Grace Bay beach, one of the top ten beaches in the world. Crystal blue water just steps away from all of the beachfront units at The Tuscany. The spacious 3 bedroom units are perfect for a family. With supermarkets close by , we stocked up and used our modern kitchen for breakfast every morning, but always taking the first cup of coffee outside to the beach or just viewing the water from our large screen porch. Great AC, Wifi, water pressure in the showers, and cable TV. Shawnamae, Coretta, Shaquell, and Teria in the front office were amazing and arranged everything from car rentals,…
Perfection
This December 2021 we had an absolutely amazing experience. Our children gifted us a 5-night stay at the Tuscany in Turks and Caicos in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. From beginning to end everything was beyond perfect. The location on the quiet end of Grace Bay, the very beautiful ocean-front suite, and the wonderful staff who made our stay just perfect, Shawnemae, Coretta and Shaquell — the “dream team” — made sure our every need was met. Shaquell especially was a great help both before and during our visit. She gave us excellent suggestions of where to go, made reservations and arranged for transportation. She is not only very efficient, as are Shawnemae and Coretta, but also very friendly, warm and welcoming. The Tuscany staff and boutique resort is absolutely outstanding in every way. We hope to return soon!
Thanks!
Amazing property and condo!!
We recently staying in a 3 bedroom condo (W301) at the Tuscany and I cannot say enough about this place! Extremely clean, beautiful furnishings, the best view of the turquoise waters, comfy beds and linens and a full kitchen with everything you need! Having so much space for our family of 5 was perfect and loved the huge screened porch for playing cards, taking in the view, or having morning coffee. The beach is meticulous and the resort ensures there are plenty of chairs for guests. This area is the best of both worlds – close enough to the town in Grace Bay for shops and restaurants, but at the end of the busier section so it feels quiet and private. The water is beautiful, clear and calm. We enjoyed jet skis, parasailing and a private boat tour with snorkeling. The resort will help arrange activities or dinner reservations as needed. Bay Bistro is a must! Although no on-site restaurant, the Cabana Bar next door has great food and drinks and will deliver to the condo. Terria and her staff are very helpful and will assist any way they can. We thought Hawaii was our favorite place but fell in love with Turks and Caicos and this resort….and it’s a short 3 hour flight from NC! Highly recommend!

Outstanding condo development on the beach
We stayed at the Tuscany on Grace Bay for one week in December 2021. It is extremely hard to find anything negative to say about the complex, its location, and its management. There are 40 condos located in two 5 story buildings towards the end of the island; each unit is privately owned. The units are well maintained and each faces the beach and has a large screened in porch. They are beautifully furnished and housekeeping is available daily. The complex does not have a restaurant or bar, but the resort next door has both and is very convenient; food or drink can be ordered and delivered to your beach chair. The real plus for the complex is the service provided by the on site management staff. Every staff member we dealt with was extremely cordial and helpful and leaned over backwards to make our stay outstanding. I guess to only possible negative (and a small one) is that being located towards the end of the island, paying for taxis to go to many of the restaurants can get expensive. If you rent a car, there is ample parking at the complex so that would be a plus especially if there are more than two travellers.
In summary, when we return to the Turks and Caicos, we will again stay at the Tuscany.
1st time at Tuscany…won’t be the last
As a Travel Agent, I get to stay in a lot of great places and meet a lot of great people. But sometimes you get both. Tuscany is a great example.
As luck would have it our plane arrived late and we knew the staff would already be gone. To our surprise, Tarea, the property manager was still there…waiting on us (on a Saturday night) I also met ShawnaMae the next day…she was equally helpful and attentive to our every need. If you read reviews as I do, you will see these names over and over. You’ll read about the customer service excellence they practice. In fact, I have yet to read a negative review about anyone on staff at Tuscany. This is a true example of “if you love your job, it shows”. These ladies knock it out of the ballpark as do their cleaning staff. I will stop there. But, I could go on and on.
The facility: Amazing in so many ways!
Cleanliness: 5 star.
It’s rare that condo-style accommodations offer daily maid service. Tuscany does. And, they do a great job.
Location: 5 star.
Tuscany is near the end of Grace Bay and is quiet, but not too quiet. It’s not so far from other places that you can’t walk. But, it doesn’t have all the masses of people in rows and rows of chairs elbow to elbow. Never once did we have to look far for a chair and umbrella on our beach.
Bed/Bath/Living and Dining: 5 star
All condos have 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. We only needed a 2 bedroom, so one bedroom and bath was left unused (and we paid for a 2 bedroom) However, the space was well-done. Each room as en-suite bath. The living and dining area is more than adequate and the kitchen is well equipped and updated.
Outdoor Space/Patio: 5 star
Every single unit is Ocean Front and 75 steps to the beach. It’s closer to the water than many of the other hotels/condos which is nice if you’re like me and want to hear & see the ocean. Our patio was big with 2 lounge chairs, a table and 6 chairs. It was a great place to hang out at any time during the day. But, it was especially nice in the evening since all patios have screens. As we walked down the beach, we noticed we were one of just a couple properties with screens.
Kitchen and bathroom supply:
So many times when you stay in a condo type accommodation, you have a “starting” supply of paper towels, soaps, shampoo, etc. Not true at Tuscany. They provide everything you need for the duration. They even include coffee and replenish it with the daily maid service.
The people at Tuscany want your stay to be the best it can be. When you arrive, they will give you a cell-phone to contact them if you need anything at all. That’s putting your money where your mouth is. When we got there late, Tarea got us checked in and asked us if we’d eaten. When we said we hadn’t had time, she got on the phone to make reservations for us next door at Opus. Just amazing!
On that note, there are a couple places within walking distance for lunches and dinner. They’re great. But, our best dinner by far was 1 mile away at Coco Bistro. It’s a “can’t miss” and is as good in the food game as Tuscany is in the accommodation game.
Hope this helps. I will be back.
