Although tradition dictates that a couple should take their vows in the bride's hometown, when it comes to modern wedding planning, the destination options are extensive. You can marry in the bride or groom's hometown, the city you met, or a favorite location you've traveled to together.
But long-distance planning can put additional stress on a bride who may not have spent much time in the location of her upcoming wedding. Not being familiar with vendors in the area can add stress to the planning process, Chicago-based wedding planner Beth Bernstein tells HuffPost Weddings.

Grace Bay Beach was ranked #2 on Caribbean Journal's list, ranking above other beautiful Caribbean beaches on Grand Cayman, in Aruba, and the Bahamas. Thanks to its status as an American territory, Puerto Rico barely edged out the Turks and Caicos.
Caribbean Journal lauded Grace Bay Beach for its brilliant white sand, stunning turquoise sea and for a wide range of accommodations.
October is National Heritage Month in the Turks and Caicos. If you are thinking of planning a fall vacation at what is traditionally a quieter time of year here, there still are a number of interesting events to experience.
Kicking off National Heritage month at the beginning of October, the Salt Festival is held on Salt Cay off of Grand Turk, to the east of the Caicos island chain.
Salt was once the Turks and Caicos' most valuable commodity, with almost as much value as a currency. The flat salt pans of the surrounding cays made the Turks and Caicos the perfect place to produce this valuable resource.

This new place melds together the elements of hot and cold just perfectly to give diners an amazing experience. As the Huffington Post has recently mentioned, “…the Caribbean is quickly becoming a gourmet dining epicenter,” with the Turks & Caicos clearly leading the charge.

Somewhere is a great little spot. It's amazing snorkeling at the Bight Reef and the restaurant is "casual-sophistication" which means go snorkeling and then come up for a bite to eat! Somewhere Café and Lounge is a laid-back hip oasis on Grace Bay Beach. It prides itself as having the only location on the beach with two floors.
You've likely heard of Grace Bay Beach: This three-mile stretch of white, coral-ground sand on the northeast coast of Providenciales island consistently ranks among the Caribbean's top 10 sandy getaways. It's just 80 minutes from Miami by plane, and yet packs all the exoticism of a far-of locale. Bond along one of the world's top-ranked beaches with concessions for watersports and sundowners.

As we head into summer the Tuscany on Grace Bay resort is looking back on another successful winter and spring vacation season.
People from all over the world have come to stay at the Tuscany on Grace Bay, and we're lucky to call many of these guests our friends.
Vacationers at the Tuscany on Grace Bay have been very kind to us when leaving TripAdvisor reviews. Here are just a of the nice things they have written:
For snorkeling and/or scuba diving, you can do no better than Coral Gardens Reef, which is located at the end of Penn’s road, smack in the heart of Provo, and is part of the protected Princess Alexandra National Park. For decades now, diving experts around the world, including the late Jacques Cousteau, have revered the Turks and Caicos Islands as one of the top 10 diving sites in the world. And is it any wonder? Crystal clear visibility, gentle seas, clean, and calm, temperate water and an abundance of colorful, healthy coral and exotic marine life thrive in these beautiful turquoise waters.
There has been a recent trend in the Turks amongst travelers and regulars…..Live Local.
And one of the best local businesses this Island chain has to offer is Graceway Gourmet. Graceway Gourmet is a fully-stocked grocery store that carries many special items and options; it is akin to North America’s Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s chains.
Fort George Cay is an uninhabited cay lying to the west of Pine Cay about half an hour by boat from the northern, leeward tip of Providenciales.
In fact, Fort George Cay is only accessible by boat, and is great for exploring. Old British gun emplacements dating back two hundred years are a highlight of this isolated strip of sand. The old guns can still be seen both on shore and below the waves.
