AOL covered in its LIFESTYLE section the world's best beaches -- and of course, we know who TripAdvisor travellers chose.....
Caribbean Travel & Life did a survey on best places & over 20,000 surveys came back! Enjoy and come to the #1 Beach Grace Bay and the Tuscany.
From its perch overlooking the Turtle Cove marina just west of Grace Bay Beach, the perennially popular Tiki Hut serves consistently tasty, value-priced meals in a fun atmosphere.
Locals know to head to the Tiki Hut on Wednesday nights to enjoy the restaurant's famous chicken-and-rib special. The lively bar is a good place to cool off by quaffing the tasty Turk's Head brew.
There's also a family menu at the Tiki Hut, said to be the best kids' menu on Provo. Pizza is always popular while the Tiki Hut's spicy jerk wings—coated in a secret barbecue sauce and then grilled—have become a local cult favorite.
What’s not to love about Providenciales, the tourism hub of the Turks and Caicos Islands? Sugary sands and crystal-clear waters have rightfully made the island affectionately known as Provo famous, but here are five more reasons to visit right now.
October is National Heritage Month in the Turks and Caicos. If you are thinking of planning a fall vacation at what is traditionally a quieter time of year here, there still are a number of interesting events to experience.
Kicking off National Heritage month at the beginning of October, the Salt Festival is held on Salt Cay off of Grand Turk, to the east of the Caicos island chain.
Salt was once the Turks and Caicos' most valuable commodity, with almost as much value as a currency. The flat salt pans of the surrounding cays made the Turks and Caicos the perfect place to produce this valuable resource.
One of the newest additions to the Turks & Caicos restaurant scene is Fire & Ice Restaurant. This new place melds together the elements of hot and cold just perfectly to give diners an amazing experience. As the Huffington Post has recently mentioned, “…the Caribbean is quickly becoming a gourmet dining epicenter,” with the Turks & Caicos clearly leading the charge.
Two years after the wedding, Bugs and Kevin traveled back to their honeymoon spot: the Tuscany Turks and Caicos. Powdery sands, turquoise water, the caribbean sun, relax, peace and pampering with a smile. So many memories and special moments are connected to the luxury resort... so why not experience it a second time? Life is a journey so keep travelling and make the best of it
We scheduled a sunset session to take advantage of the golden light and the cooler temperature: a glass of wine in the hands, the will to play, sincere laughters, lots of cuddling and kisses…

Somewhere is a great little spot. It's amazing snorkeling at the Bight Reef and the restaurant is "casual-sophistication" which means go snorkeling and then come up for a bite to eat! Somewhere Café and Lounge is a laid-back hip oasis on Grace Bay Beach. It prides itself as having the only location on the beach with two floors.
[Providenciales, Turks and Caicos For immediate release]
As we head into summer the Tuscany on Grace Bay resort is looking back on another successful winter and spring vacation season.
People from all over the world have come to stay at the Tuscany on Grace Bay, and we're lucky to call many of these guests our friends.
Vacationers at the Tuscany on Grace Bay have been very kind to us when leaving TripAdvisor reviews. Here are just a of the nice things they have written:
There has been a recent trend in the Turks amongst travelers and regulars…..Live Local.
And one of the best local businesses this Island chain has to offer is Graceway Gourmet. Graceway Gourmet is a fully-stocked grocery store that carries many special items and options; it is akin to North America’s Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s chains.
Fort George Cay is an uninhabited cay lying to the west of Pine Cay about half an hour by boat from the northern, leeward tip of Providenciales.
In fact, Fort George Cay is only accessible by boat, and is great for exploring. Old British gun emplacements dating back two hundred years are a highlight of this isolated strip of sand. The old guns can still be seen both on shore and below the waves.
We like to thank TripAdvisor guest on their comments for making The Tuscany the #1 Resort out of 45 Resorts on Providenciales in the Turks & Caicos Islands.....Thank you kindly~!
While we're known mostly as a tranquil, slightly "hidden" getaway, the island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos has plenty of family-focused activities, food and culture.
If you just want to stay close to the resort, there is little planning needed for the perfect family vacation. That's because the Tuscany is right on Grace Bay, just steps away from what is recognized to be the best beach in the Caribbean, and one of the best beaches in the whole world.
